Description

Windsor Family Dentistry, a fast-paced, family dental practice, located in Windsor, Colorado, is hiring a full-time EDDA Dental Assistant, Monday through Thursday. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EDDA to assist our provider chairside while delivering a high standard of care and customer service in every interaction.

Responsibilities/Skills:
  • Welcome patients into the office
  • Prepare patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist chairside
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
  • Comfortable working with adult patients
  • Comfortable with placing Fillings
  • Comfortable taking Impressions
  • Experience fabricating Temp Crowns
  • Experience seating Crowns

Requirements

  • EDDA certification with at least 1 year of experience
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
  • Additional certification or training is an asset
  • Denticon experience is a plus but not required
